Northamptonshire Village and Town Signs

The county's motto is Rosa concordia signum (The rose, emblem of harmony) and the flower is shown on their flag. Like other counties they have a nickname with their one being the Rose of the Shires. Just over 733,000 live in the county and the county town is as one would think. The map shows various towns and villages together with the adjacent counties. Given the size of the map certain abbreviations were used so to clarify them and going clockwise, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.

I have not completed this county, yet given the expected number you will see a list of letters and that relates to the first letter of the name of the locations. The number of letters is also short and that does stem from me not completing Northants, though please return.
