The Embryo

All it is...
Is what they've done,
A moment of fun,
It is there, it is now,
Deep, deep inside;
It is thee, and it is thy...

Out of the cells does it emerge;
A faceless burden,
A fleeting intruder that
Crawled down the tubes
And floats upon the fluid;
A flicker of change beyond the now
Is all it is, is you, is love.
What is love?

It exists
But if it really did,
How would movement be,
Absent the cold rope
From which one hangs,
Against the trembling flesh
That was calm not long ago?

Caught in a chamber,
Early, alone, unfinished,
Like the voice that haunts the future,
In the dark, the hourglass empties,
Passing the point of no return,
The thin ice grows thicker as does
Blood that flows to the mind.
Why is one here, for what reason does one endure?
They're not quite feeling, nor quite thought
And did not stem from such.

I am, I am
All I am is love, is all I am.
Warm glow, moon bloom,
Always need a little more room,
Whisper low, here I go,
I will see the sunshine show...
